Studio Daniel Kersh, a collaborative studio for practice and research in contemporary art and performance, is looking for a Generative AI Engineer who is available to immediately join their team for upcoming projects. This is a freelance position with potential for long-term and/or full-time collaboration. The ideal applicant is well versed in generative machine learning and NVIDIA StlyeGAN models. The applicant must be able to run unsupervised experiments, collect data points, pinpoint specific visual attributes, write code to isolate these attributes, and make these visual attributes controllable over time given specific circumstances. The applicant will be asked to help develop visual graphics that will be executed and manipulated live using breathing and biofeedback. Integration of the visual graphics into the biofeedback system will be assisted by medical technology engineers.
Applicants should have a mathematical understanding deep enough to design new neural architectures and ML paradigms and have experience in the architecture and coding of software products. Any experience in generative art, new media art, design, performance, motion graphics, CGI, or animation is highly valued.
